I have fished the Chain with Jack on ice. I'll just say it was not only very educational but a blast as well. Oh, and I am sure he will tell the story about the pig we (well he) got that day. Hopefully he gives me props for the catfish I caught! Seriously, for someone like myself that was somewhat new to the hardwater aspect of fishing, it was great (except for having to pull that sled with all the darn equipment on it, I'm still sore and this was January of '05).

Good work by Jack. You should've have seen the crowd "workin" him hard after his presentation. Lots of info flying around.

There was this group of ne'er do wells, rumor has it the leader was from kingston, that looked to having a good time. One guy make 3 visits to the bean crock pot for dinner. The Illinois no smoking policy took effect Jan 1, so the bar was smoke free.

Crappy weather, but lots of good walleye ice fishing talk. Mannerino called. He's on a super secret mission. So missed the show. Good time was had by all. 4 star beans, and that venison chili mack. Superb. And I can forget the polish. nice.
