| Does anyone powder paint??? At the Novi, MI Ultimate sport fishing show there were 2 guys from TJ's tackle showing how to do it. They sure made it look easy with the setup they had. They were selling the powder paint and something called a fluid bed. Check out the vidoes they have on the website www.tjstackle.com, they are very cool. Paint is a great price for Pro-Tec paint. |

| I make my own custom spinnerbaits and I also made myself a fluidbed to paint them in. I use pro-tec powder paint and it is very easy to do with the right equipment. |

| Pikeman, can you describe how you made your fluid bed. I watched the videos from the website and I'm not sure how they switch color cups without loosing any powder. I figure that there has to be a small hole (or several small holes) in the cup to allow the air into the paint.
Thanks.

| I use Powder Paint for my jigs. It works very well. You need to remember to clean the eye out after dipping them and before you bake them. Once they are baked they are way more durable than store bought jigs. I also like making different various color combinations. Check out some of my creations at

| I have been painting jigs for some years.. I have used powder paints, fluid beeds. I do not have the versatility that I do with my vinly paints.
Here are some of my jigs for an example..
