| Cool pics and article, we did something very similar to that in 2005 at the Bender boat launch for browns. At least these guys were smart and went after walleyes

Happened in November and Escanaba is correct.
John you sould recognize that boat. The guy that broke ice in the pics, also particpated in the Bender outing, we broke ice very similar by "washing" out a big hole with the prop so we could turn/move boats. |

Location: Chicago IL. | Yea broke ice 2 years ago at a WAT in genoa. Best thing was that my partner had a pretty sparkly new plastic boat!!!!! I was not in the boat when that other guy went on the beach. |

| Reminds me of a few trips at Tobin Lake, Sask I have done in late Oct....But ...While my results were pretty good...they were not up to these guy's "rewards".
I was younger, then ...LOL!
Nowdays...with conditions like that...cribbage w/ a few Lamb's Rum & Cokes in the cabin is more appealing.
