Location: Rhinelander | The bite was spotty, but some big weights came in despite the wind and muddy conditions. Several baskets in the 40# range lead the way, and when all the baskets were weighed, Mike Kuzdzal holds the lead over David Frey by ounces at 41.50 and 42.13 respectively. KEVIN MICHNICKI is in 3rd back only a little over a pound, CHAD SCHILLING, DAN STIER, ROBERT HENTON, NATE PROVOST, PETE HARSH , TOM BRUNZ, and JASON KERR round out the top ten going into day two. Conditions tomorrow promise a better bite according to many of the Pros. Warmer water, clearing conditions, and less wind will make for a great weigh in on day two, so join us in the Interactive Live Leader Board room at about 2:45 PM central time tomorrow afternoon. I was out there today. Make no mistake, the wind and waves were howling. South winds between 20-25 mph with 2-4 footers a mile and a half off shore. Team Michnicki checked in one over 10#, and another at 8 3/4#. The forecast for the rest of the event looks great, with temps in the high 60's and mild winds.

Member Posts: 23 Location: Arlington, WI | Steve, A couple questions from today's pictures. 1. What boat is Rick Franklin driving this year? 2. Is Scott Fairbairn's boat wrapped? If so, by whom? Thanks, Brian

Member Posts: 1382 | I haven't seen any Franklin images yet from this event, I assume he's in a Yar Craft. I asked Steve and he hasn't seen him either. Fairbairn has an Oxygenator wrap like last year, it may be the same boat. Zach

Member Posts: 23 Location: Arlington, WI | Thanks for the information. I saw Scott in his boat in today's AM pics. The only pics of Rick Franklin have been at weigh in and not of his boat. I was curious to see what his ride was. Last year he was in the center console 21' YarCraft. Also, did Steve have any info on Pat Neu running Yamaha power instead of E-Tech's? Just wondering? Thanks, Brian
