| The bite was about the same as yesterday without any big fish, so as a result the top twenty five field was fairly stable throughout the weigh in with some shifting into the top ten, bumping out a couple Pro anglers who needed just a few ounces more to hold position. As was predicted, this was a battle of ounces, taking 25# to make the cut. The field from 11th through 15th was separated from 10th by a max of only 1/4 of a pound. The Top Ten looks like this:
KELLY KLEMM
SCOTT BANKS
KEVIN LARKINS
GERRICK MCCOMSEY
SCOTT FAIRBAIRN
TED TAKASAKI
RON SEELHOFF
TROY WALWOOD
CHRIS GILMAN
BILL SHIMOTA
The big news now is the weather forecast for tomorrow:
---------------------------
Snow Showers
High 41°F
Windy. Showers in the morning...Then showers and snow showers in the afternoon. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph.
-------------------------------
That should about eliminate a 50 mile run to West Bend. Kelly Klemm said he figures all the anglers will have to deal with the same weather, so he's reasonably comfortable in doing as well as the rest of the field no matter what Mother Nature dishes out, but said he thinks he has to put a limit in the rig to win.
Watch for a morning report from wintry Pierre SD in the early AM, and for the Live Leaderboard update tomorrow afternoon. We will not be streaming the Audio, as Zach is on the road at another event tomorrow afternoon.
Day Three Interviews, Seelhoff/Klemm.
