| The Missouri River once again proved why it's one of the best fisheries in the country. With 101 of 105 boats coming to the scale with a five fish limit, fish were plentiful on Day 1 of the Berkley/Lowrance pro-am.
Two-thirds of the field caught there fish contour trolling with leadcore and crankbaits. Rookie pro Aaron Deal came to the scale with that five fish limit weighing in at 19lbs-22oz.
Hall of Fame fisherman Mike McClelland making his first appearance in over two years to the tournament circuit made a strong showing on his home waters with a total weight of 17lbs-76oz.
Lee Pulse is holding down third place with 16lbs-47oz. Fourth place is Mark Martin with 16lbs-25oz. Fifth place is being held by local favorite and long time resident of Akaska, South Dakota just a few minutes from Mobridge with a day 1 weight of 16lbs-04oz.
Stay tuned for the best walleye coverage including daily reports, images, video and live audio throughout the tournament.
