Location: Berlin | Was just on the dock in my back yard and saw hundreds upon hundreds of LARGE minnows jumpling like crazy. I netted one and it was a Muskie! It was about 4-5" long. Are they stocking them up here or is this natural? Very cool to see, man they are everywhere. |

Location: Menasha, WI | I see they have stocked some muskies on the Fox River but it doesn't say where and certainly not in the numbers you report:

Maybe you winessed a 2008 stocking and they're still traveling together in a school?

Location: Berlin | I went back out after posting this with the entire family. It was something to see. Them little buggers jump and run on the surface like they do when you have them hooked. One was so frisky, he jumped over a foot onto the rocky shoreline. We gave him a nice release. They were small but they sure looked liked a tiger to me. No teeth yet and I was amazed at how identical they are to the adults. Very cool to see. I would assume they were this years hatch since they were the size of a large milwaukee shiner. My son said he will be down on the shoreline in case one beaches itself again |
