Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Pete Harsh leads the field of 124 anglers going out on Day 3 this morning with his lucky charm Shadow(his Black Lab) right next to him ready to make a run at the cut to the top ten. Pete seemed very laid back and relaxed during his morning interview, not a worry in the world other than just going out fishing. Tony Renner and Scott Steil were both optimistic saying the wind was going to be their friend today; the more wind the merrier. Renner mentioned that his spot was much more crowded and felt that the high skies and the calmer conditions played a factor in his lesser weight yesterday. He also said that he had to move deeper yesterday to contact fish but with the predicted higher wind today, he planned on sticking it out all day on his steep break hoping when the wind picks up he'd have the spot to himself again. Winds are predicted 20+mph out of the west-southwest and a 50% chance of precipitation. Stay tuned for this afternoon's Cut to the Top Ten. Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I was wondering if others thought the back end of the ranger Pete is driving made me take another look. Sure looks a lot like a Warrior. I know it is not by the seats in the boat, but this boat has morphed quite a bit over the years. Also, Pete is one of those guys that, once you let him have the lead, she is all but over and the rest get the chance to fish for 2nd place. I think seelhoff is the only one with more wins. | ||
