| I had a 2005 619(old hull) it was an awsome boat to fish out of and was a totaly dry ride. However, it would pound the hell out of me in rough water. Suspension seats would have probably helped but it was a rough riding boat. |

| I think without a doubt the old style is much better. The vee in the front is much deeper and cuts the waves far better than the new model. The slope at which the vee is on the old style is greater than that of the new. For me it's the OLD!!! |

| I have a 2002 619, and i love it. That being said I took Schmitty's 2009 for a ride on Saturday, The ride is completly different, the new one was definatly larger than mine and the ride was better how much better I could not really tell because it was not real rough but smoother for sure. Dave has had a 2000, a 2002 a 2003 and now this one he said that the new one in his opinion rides at least 20% better than the others in rough water, from the short ride I took I have to believe that. | New: MUCH faster and softer ride ... but will occasionally spear a wave and will take water over the bow when working into the wind in high waves.
Old: Virtually never speared waves or took water over the bow, but was a slower, rough as heck (not like tin, but for a 19' glass boat) ride. |

| When exactly did the "new" 619's begin production? |
