Mike Lewis and Allen West came to the scales with an impressive catch of 37lbs even to claim the top spot for the league finale in Wisconsin. Just like everyone else, they were pulling crawler harnesses in varying depths. FLW Tour pro and 2007 Angler of the Year winner Jason Przekurat and co-angler Brian Gutske just missed the top spot with 34lbs and 2ounces to claim second and a combined check for $4090.00. Like Mike, he to was pulling crawler harnesses in varying depths from 14-40 feet of water, which enabled him to have a limit by noon. Kevin Carstensen and co-angler Dan Miller finished third with a one day weight of 30lbs and 8ounces to claim a combined check for $4680.00. Pat Neu, another FLW Tour pro and past tour winner took home fourth and a combined check for $3825.00. Fifth place went to Greg Wierzba and co-angler Greg Fischer with a weight of 28lbs and 12ounces to claim a combined check for $3020.00. Congratulations to Pat Neu for claiming his second $1000 check from Toyota as the winner of the Toyota Truck Walleye Rewards Program. Jonathan Rhode and James Moser Jr. nabbed themselves a cool $125.00 a piece for winning the Frabill Nets Big fish award. Member Posts: 3899 | Hard to believe the DQ. Winner said he was at Green Island. Alot of the weights were from the same area, but the bigger weights came in shallower than the 30'+ a lot were fishing. One of the top weights came from Chambers. That's where I went, and only had the two bites. 3 more like two I got, and I'm in the top 5. Oh well, swing hard in case you hit it. That's what I tell my daughter in softball! hehehe

Member Posts: 3899 | When I said most of the weights came from the same area, I did not mean to imply that they came from Green Island. Sorry for not being clear on that. Most of the field was fishing south of Oconto. I went to Chambers because my partner had a great day there Friday, and I wasn't confident I could get two big fish to go along with 3 22's if I went to my spot south. Turns out I made the wrong choice. That's tourney fishing.
