Congratulations and THANKS to all 115 teams that fished the August 10 MWS Winnebago tournament.

It was a cool morning with a brisk wind out of the north but the Sun shined for the weigh-in.

The team of Scott Zwiers and Jason Zwiers took first place with five fish weighing 19.00# winning them $4,500. Second place went to the team of Michael Schwartz and Alex Wilkens with five fish totaling 17.86# for $2,400. Third place went to the team of Joe Cartwright and Ken Hibbard with five fish weighing 15.94# for $1,400. Joe and Ken also had the big fish of the tournament weighing 7.34# winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy, $100 in Gift certificates from Mack’s Lures, a hand held GPS donated by Marine General, and some Ka Boom lures. Fourth place went to the team of Mark O’Brien and Rich Stadler with five fish totaling 13.32# for $1,000. Fifth place went to the team of Joe and Kim Boehnlien with five fish weighing 12.42# for $750.

The Lamiglas Rod and Wave Spin reel award went to the team of the Greg
Golliher and Joe Robl being the first team out of the money.

The Stowmaster Net and Lakemaster award went the team of Randy Mudler and Jake Liedke the second out of the money team.

The Sportsman’s Warehouse award went top the team of G W Kadow and David Skwor the third out of the money

Current Team of the year is Joe Cartwright and Ken Hibbard Current parent/child Team of the year is Jeff Hartmann and Richard Hartmann. Current Sibling Team of the Year is brother/sister team of Brendan Uitenbroek and Melaina Uitenbroek

Forty-eight teams weighed limits of five fish. Total fish weighed was 369 fish for a total weight of 709.52#

I recognize Mark and Rich from WF posting. Congrats to you guys and all the other winners. What were the top programs in this tourney.

The winners said they went the opposite way from Bago and they weren't trolling.

Second said they were jigging the east side rocks and it was a "massacre".

The big fish came from the river and Jim Coon said they could watch that team most of day.

That's what I heard from the stage.

Thanks Jim, it was nice to finish off the year on a good note. I am not sure what the winners were doing. I know what they said... We saw only a few boats all day so I have no idea where everyone went but I heard a bunch came from the east shore of Bago.

Thanks Jim Coon for another great tournament! You and your staff do a bang up job every year. Keep up the good work, us anglers really appreciate your effort.
