Location: Lake Erie | Bomber Long A, Renosky's, Husky Jerks size 10 thru 14, Floating Rapala's F-13's and F-18's, Ripsticks and Thundersticks
On Erie these are the go to baits for shallow eyes at night or when they are way up high. |

Location: Menasha, WI | Trolling or casting? I recall that you're primarily a shore angler. I suggest Countdown Rapalas, you can get a good distance on the cast, they sink quickly but don't run too deep on the retrieve. |

| I'm gonna say he was thinking crankbaits.... for 2-5 ft try the mentioned bandit... good price and a huge selection of colors... Rapala dt seies real good but pricey... bomber flat A has a shallow version... my favorite is the lucky craft Rc series... pricey but catch fish big time... Yo zuri rattling bait has the best action and can be fished any speed...
jerkbait wise I catch more eyes on husky jerks than anything... |

| Reef runner little ripper size 500 and Ripstick in the size 700 are two good choices.
-Also try Dave's Kaboom Shiners- |
