Tyler,

I love to use 1/16th oz black heads with a 2" black twister body over green weeds in 3-4 f.o.w. The black works the best if i go to a pink/white or lighter color we get Crappie. We also use the Black Reaper tails the same way. This is our go to method fishing walleye in the weeds at night in early to mid summer.

Good luck!

Soft plastics tear them up after dark. I've fished Walleyes after dark pitching yellow creatures with really good success since the 70's.
