Member Posts: 3899 | I had Wave Whackers on my Lund. Excellent fit and finish, easy to install, and I really like the ease of taking them on and off. I had a bag mad to store them in, with a little velcroed pocket to hold the thumb screws.

Member Posts: 39 | I have wave wackers on my 2010 lund, liked them better than the walleye masters. Don't know about the whitecaps. The wave wackers need to be modified by building a aluminum bracket for the insides of the splash guards to keep them from flexing. They will eventually crack, after pounding the waves. I did that to mine and they are awesome now.

Member Posts: 150 Location: mille lacs, mn. | I was one of the original customers of Whitecap and continue to use the Whitecap brand each year on the new boat. I've never had an issue of any form or fashion with Whitecap guards. I've never heard a bad word about the product nor the company and it's service.

I have walleye masters on my 620t and they are great. Wayne is very easy to deal with. His guards are by far the strongest on the market now with the aluminum he runs behind the guards.www.walleyemasters.com.

I agree and am going to go to work. How hard can it be? I think the most intimadating part is drilling holes into the back of my boat but i would be doing this if I bought any of the three products mentioned anyway. Looking around online I found a few places that sell either lexan or some sort of polycarbonate...looks like the plastic alone will be around $50 plus what another 15-20 for misc? I'm thinking under $100. I've been talking about getting these for a while but didn't realize they were $300 plus....are you kidding me? I would rather put that towards something else on my boat that I can't make myself. Just my two cents.
