There are still a few openings left for the tournament this weekend if anyone is interested! The river is cleaning up nicely.
Water clarity has surpassed the one foot mark and the flow is just about right. So, we should see some good weights and numbers this weekend. We are looking forward to seeing some new faces this year!

There is some massive rain here. And lots of standing water. All my ditches are full and connected. Wow, did it come down.

Well guys, it seems like it never fails for the first tournament of the year. I checked the river this morning and the water
is almost to the top of the ramps and there is a bunch of trees and debris coming down.
The tenative rescheduled date is Sunday March, 15th. I think it will take at least two weeks to clean up and get right providing we have no more gully washers.
Please let me know if this date conflicts with anyone's schedule. Because after the weekend of the 15th we're all going to
be busy for a few weeks.
Thanks
Adam

Yes I do plan on rescheduling. But, I am going to wait and see what the river is going to do to the upcoming tournament dates. Based on the September flood when the river set the record at 33.8' it took over three weeks for the river to recover. So, when everything settles down I will let everyone know that has an interest. I am trying to be optimistic, but it is awfully ugly down here right now. Any more rainfall in the next couple of weeks and you can pretty much put a fork in it.
Thanks

Well, we are going to try it one more time this Sunday. The Ottawa pool is within a foot or so of normal pool and the water clarity seems to be improving everyday. Also the Fox river is running very clean. With little to no rain in the forecast until Sunday were going to give it one more shot.
Thanks,
Adam Sandor

This tournament has officially been canceled until this fall. The D N R has the river closed until Monday March, 23rd. Even though the Ottawa pool is down to normal levels the river is closed to all pleasure craft. No Exceptions.
Thanks to all that have shown an interest. We are going to shoot for a date in mid October when the river is little more predictable.
Thanks,
Adam Sandor
