All I can say is WOW! It seems to always be the best bite and the best weather for prefishing and then tournament day....BAM!... the weather gets bad and the bite follows.

Everyone had a great time! If you are on the fence about fishing this series, get in on the next tourney at the Fox Chain May 2nd. This is a very well run tourney and you will meet some great fisherpersons.
Nice to finally meet some of the WFer's there...see you on the Fox Chain!

Good seeing you ron. You had em going big.

We had an excellent time! The pool was great. The tournament meeting was fun too. I thought the food hit the spot. Weather was kinda dicey, but the boy held his own. We really took advantage of being away a few days. Behaved like a couple of bachelors. He had a great time.

Had loads of fun with the Rich S. familia. If there was one group that spent more time at the pool then us, it was them.

Very nicely run, decent enough turnout. Looking forward to the circuits continuing success in Illinois.

By the way had a liitle fun on the way home...got as far as the Cermak Rd toll plaza, felt some vibration, look in the mirror and looked like I had a trailer tire going down. I pulled into the plaza parking lot to find that 3 lugs and studs were gone and the rim looked like it was cut with a torch. Had to call a flat bed from home to come get the boat. Good thing I won some money....that's where it's all going.

Lesson learned? Always check your lugnuts before traveling.

Detroit river for some fun fishing that weekend. Good luck on the chain. I remember that 9lb'r Gofron pulled from there at the PWT event a few years back. Should be a good time. Full Throttle did a nice job.

hey and slick looking tuffy.

Ron, I lost a wheel on the way back from Spring Valley in '03. Thank goodness I was almost home when it happened. One boat company makes a pop axle for the duals which is a very nice feature. It will let you get home with just one of the axles. Glad you made it home safe and congrats on 3rd!

Thanks Rich...PM me your number...would like more info on the pop axles.

Had to wait 2-1/2 hours for the flat bed..didn't get home till 1am. Was wierd seeing my baby on that flat bed driving in a blizzard! Anyways we made it home safe but a lot later than I was looking forward to. Saw a ton of boats going down 294 from the south..somebody have a big tourney this weekend? Bass tourney somewhere?

I have only seen pop axles on Bass Cat boats. I am not sure if they make their own trailers. If not, some other brands may use the same manufacturer and have that same option available. Another nice thing about them is if you have limited room in your garage this make the trailer much more manuverable.
