Member Posts: 744 | I'm starting to see the future of walleye fishing on this system: EVERY tournament for the whole system is held on ONE day. Entry fee is as much or as little as you like, depending how many you want to enter. One GIANT weigh-in. Really, that does solve the only problem with tournament fishing, clogged boat ramps. Sure it would be bad for one week, but that's it. I think I'm on to something here....I'll call it "The Otter National Fort Throttle Stockbridge Romey Pop Terry Houge FLW Critterfest"

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | The thing I like best about this circuit is they are always trying to make it better. They are listening, trust me. I brought up the Fort Fremont tournament but the date was already set. Denny runs an awesome tournament and hopefully this works out well for everyone. It does offer a different format so no matter what your preferences are one of these two events should fit you well.

Thumper,In the past you have brought up the situation with tournaments and clogged up boat ramps. I know you live in Omro but sometime you should check out the boat ramps in July, August and early September at Rainbow Park, Fox Valley Tech, 24th st and at Fugalberg. In mid summer we fisherman have a hard time finding parking spots. This is when the pleasure crafts are out. We must all try to get along with each other, and if I see that one of these ramps is busy I just drive down a few block and look for another. TJM
