Little birdy chirped in my ear that AIM is doing a test run in Winneconne this weekend to work out the bugs. Friend on the water right now said several tourney boats were tail piping him on Lake Winneconne.

Should be interesting with the MWS running their event on the same body of water this weekend.

Not sure what you're getting at here. Tailpiping? Huh?

Are you saying it's going to be crowded? That AIM will get in the way of the MWS on Sunday if they are still testing their format? That the AIM testers can't find fish, so they are following othe anglers to them?

I just got off of Winneconne. There's hardly any traffic (fish were bitin', though) and people were fishing in the 'usual' areas. Nobody was tailpiping anyone.

I'm pretty sure the last thing these guys would do is, tailpipe somebody in a mock tournament. That would be a ridiculous thing to do. The reputation of the circuit and anglers is at stake, and most of these anglers are smart enough to know better than to do something like that.

As a side note, there are many guys who fish the MWS who run tournament rigs. There are a lot of locals running big boats. Unless you personally saw and have proof that one of the big names who is easily recognizable was doing this, that statement is nothing but garbage.

Any way no big news since AIM put out a request for volunteers for completing there test and dry run. Would not surprise if some of the mws folks are actually helping in the test today.

Keith Kavajecz "The trial event will be on APril 25th in Winneconnie. We hope to get a dozen or so boats there, maybe hold a quick little 4 hour tournament and then go through the weigh-in process."

The test run went well, with all available systems a 'go' and working well. The AIM events are going to be pretty cool.
