Location: Rhinelander | It's cool and calm in Red Wing, MN this morning, with the weather forecast to bring a front through the area this afternoon. 50% chance of a thunderstorm begins at about 1 PM as the temperatures are forecast to hit 70 degrees, so the weigh in could be wet, but warm enough to be comfortable. The Pros are again optimistic the bite will be good, and most figure because of the approaching weather, the afternoon bite will be stellar. Several Pros said the Sauger bite has been really good early, and the wallyes , especially the big girls, have been easier in the afternoon, so the game plan is to troll up a few good saugers, and concentrate on big fish in the afternoon. It appeared that every technique available will be in play from vertical jigging to hand lining. It's going to be a shoot out all the way for the cut to the top ten after this afternoon's weigh in. Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | It will be interesting to see if the weather coming in will change the bite. Be really nice to have a 7.5# lead as Ted does on the front side of this.

Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Wow, Ted's as hot as a firecracker right now. With a second place finish at Erie and now leading with a 7.5lbs. going into Day 4, I'd say his time is coming; maybe tomorrow! He sure improved his weight today.
