That's my philosophy too, just tough to get 3-4 consistent days out there. Except when there is no money on the line, then it's amazing how many nice eyes you can catch.

Signing up together now won't confirm a Co Angler's entry. There is a deadline for that and that was back in February.

By signing up as a Pro, you will give the first Co on the waiting list a chance to fish.

There are two trains of thought here when it comes to the field and how many will fish. The first is the influence of it being local to many good sticks. I do not have the figures in front of me, but I believe the WI FLW League events have more anglers in the boater division than any other state. Based on that, this event should be more full than any other.

The second thought is about how many of the field is fishing every event and each pros chances of making the championship. In general, when the opportunity to make the championship looks most bleak, some decide to skip the final event. Given the current economic state, this is more likely to happen this year than ever.

I'm thinking out loud, with no idea what the numbers are, but I think this event will be the most full for the FLW this year, with a number of around 130-140 boats. I hope the good bite holds out so Winnebago can put it's best foot forward.

Today on Winnebago the wind died to almost nothing and so did my bite. We struggled for 6 small eaters. Nothing over 16 inches today. Godd Luck!
