Member Posts: 3899 | Yeah, what he said! I picked JP, because he does know this water, he is due on this water for a big win, and I happen to think he's a great guy. He's also had a couple great MWC and MWS finishes over the past 10 years here. And your picks don't count toward the grand prize, because we won't know who actually made those picks, and won't know where to send the prizemobile.

I have to pick one of the Glorvigen twins. Let's say Scott, he's do to win another one.

Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I guess what I was saying is there will be locals who think they can catch 7 28-29 inch fish and come in with one or 2 and they wont be that big. thats alot of weight to make up and those who know when to whip this horse will take the lead in the straight away. This event will really show that. PS If I was kemos I would say that as well, keeps people on there pre tourney plan. He wants a few to be eliminated today. Edited by stacker 7/2/2009 1:52 PM

Two things just came together for me, the bite shut down and Denny was on the water!!!!!!! I would disaggree with the local boys shooting themselves in the foot. There are a few of them out there with local knowledge like Schneider, Neu and Scott Allan that are not going to over think this thing and stay away from the fat change up and the swing for the fence approach cated

Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | GMW, are you saying that I had something to do with that bite turning? thems fightin' words. I will make you buy at the brewery friday. The fat change up hahahhaha you know there are guys that are. did not some of them do that last weekend? OH yeah, what the heck does "Cated" mean in your last post. The only definition for Cated is a lack of spell check on the access spam password. 45 plus days on the water this year and I have not seen it shut down and turn South as fast as the 3 days you hit it up, I'm just sayin!!!! ok maybe it had more to do with the wind. I still would place my trifecta bet to hold two local names when the last boat is trailerd on Saturday. Been awhile since you, Jayman and I hit the Tiki Hut!

Member Posts: 1656 | 6 fish in the boat last weekend is pretty hard to over think it. More of a matter can you ge the right bites and box 5 good ones. The big fish were scattered and still are if the water temps are true......ugly is the word that comes to mind. I agree, I like a local near the top, finding willing biters could be key right now. I gotta root for my good friend Super Joe. Did someone say Tiki Hut? I know where we can get a goat.

Member Posts: 2445 Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | shall I bring the fire for the open pit guys? I just saying, thats all........hmmmmm funny stuff. I still think the locals will be needing gas from all the running. How much did you use saturday jayman, GMD?

Member Posts: 1040 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Mr. Kemos is a knockin with his 5th place position. I think he'll definitely be the man to beat, that's only if Mr. Schilling doesn't lose his cool! Good luck to all the Pros!

Member Posts: 1656 | Saturday, out of oconto made one run and stayed put, threw fish back early in the morning only to have the bite sour, ran to small fish spot later in the day closer too home....many others had the same plan. I'd have pictures if they counted. There's the difference, fish for 7 and keep fishing. vs fish for 6 and weigh 5. Add in the fact that the big fish days are coming to an end, I said it before and I'll say it again. Those in the know....know, hard to imagine fishing for a limit of 24" fish. Bago is where it's at.
