| Ok guys putting together my 2010 Tuffy/Merc. package and was wondering whta you guys are getting for true GPS speeds with your combos.I am looking for inout on 2060`s,1890`s and the X-190 as well.Please post your regular load speeds and the package/combo you run.Thanks Guys. |

| X-190 with 200hp Opti and Tempest prop:
- WOT 5500rpms (slighly under 5750 target listed in motor manual)
- fastest repeatable was 64.9mph gps with a light load in 2 different boats
- hit 65mph once briefly in '08 rig
- top end 63-64mph consistently with light load
- 62-63mph consistently with full load of gear, gas, 2 people
- planes in low-20s, maintains plane at 25-27mph
- cruises nicely at 35-42mph
since it's a relatively lightweight boat at 1300lbs, the hole shot is significantly quicker than comparable 19-20' boats as well. at the '09 Leech Lake MAC event, it was...enjoyable...to beat the assorted Ranger 619, 620, and 621 off the line and then have the top end to keep them in my wake. of course, in 2-3' waves they'd have turned that equasion around on me, but most of the time...

| in '07 i ran an 1890 walk-thru with 200 Opti:
- Tempest prop: 59mph top speed, 56mph consistent with full load
- Hi-Five prop: 54mph top end regardless of load, smoother quick hole shot
- maintain plane at 38mph

| Yep with my 1890 200 opti, 58/59 at 5750rpm, with 2 people pretty well loaded up 21 Tempest, I had it blueprinted, middle hole on the engine hieght. |

| 60 people have looked and only 6 have replied don`t be bashfull this is priceless real world info coming forward.My 2060 that had a 200 HPDI would run consistant 49-50 with an ocassional 51-52 thrown in there.I always felt it should have been faster but that`s what it ran.Horshak is your 225 an XS or staight OPTI that`s impressive speed for a 225 you are making me think abit on motors. |

| 2008 X-190, 2010 E-TEC 200HO, CMC 5.5" setback hydraulic jackplate, DAH worked Tempest 23"(only got to run it one weekend), livewell full of water/suckers, two guys plus tackle, full gas tank, anchor, 24V system up front, 9.9 ProKicker in back and misc boat equipment. Runs at 5800 rpm hitting 63.2 mph on the GPS in a 2' chop and seemed to be still accelerating slightly when I ran out of lake last fall. The motor should run at 5600 rpm according to BRP.
Runs 55 mph with 3 guys and a worked Solas 23" 3 blade prop, it has a smaller diameter and has a lot more slip. Max speed with that prop was 59 mph by myself. Runs 6000 rpm with two guys and a worked 21" Laser II at 60 mph. Ran 59 mph with two guys and a 4 blade worked Solas 19" at 5950 rpm. All readings were with a full tank. I noticed that the critical factors are motor height above the transom and then prop slip from a combination of surface area, and cup. If you have the motor too low the drag will absolutely scramble your test results with props making them meaningless.
The boat runs really nicely at 45-50 mph with the best gas mileage/speed compromise coming in that area with three guys.
I think I could still pick up another 3-4 mph on the top end if I had the resources to sort through a few more props and load distributions. I was torn between the 23" Tempest and a 24" Fury and now I'm regretting not going with the Fury or a 24" Tempest. |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Kirt is correct. Plain Opti. Hit 61.2 on the Wolf with 10 gals of gas and empty of all gear by myself. Get an XS on your 2010 and I will hunt you down when you get your 2011. LOL! Make sure it looks nice and no orange! |

| I run a 05 2060dc bubble windshield, 225 not an xs, 5.5cmc jackplate hyd,a reverse 15% transom wedge, bosen reeds, solid mounts , 15hp4stk kicker , 80lb. autopiolet 60inch, I removed most of the top wedge on the underside of the hull :with a full fishing load and my wife 110lbs and me at 180 , a modified 23 inch highfive I get 58-59mph gps at 5750 rpm and the limiter beeping. with a modified 25 inch throphy (this boat does not like a tempest prop) I got 61-62 at 5450rpm without the hull modification,with the hull modification and just me I got 65 mph at 5400rpms .I am having the prop worked again to give me a bit more rpm hopefully to 5700. The real performance is the mpg I get at 4000 rpms .I am doing 40-42 and getting terrific milage for long runs on Millacs. My next boat will be similarly equiped with the exception of a 9.9 pro kicker and a 250 pro xs . I would like to find one with a 6200 limiter but I can always change the computer., That would be a very efficent boat at all speeds. |

| 2007 1890 DS, Merc 200 Opti, 9.9 ProKicker, Rev4 21P. Full tourney load, two people, 56-57. Lightly loaded, 1/2 tank or less, I've seen 60 and a bit more in the cold.
I still have a 23P Rev4 for sale. Used very little, like maybe 4 -5 days. |

Location: Brainerd, MN | 2007 1890DS with 200 Opti with High 5 prop. Fully loaded with muskie gear, no water in the livewell, full fuel tank, 2 people and calm water I've clocked her in the 54-55 range. Unloaded and just myself I've seen 58 on GPS.

| I have a '05 2060DC w/a 250 Merc Verado, 9.9 Merc Pro Kicker, bow mount MinnKota,
24P Trophy prop, and it runs 60 + with 2 guys and gear. Hit 69.7 mph by myself once.
I think that Verado has enough torque to pull a bigger prop for a faster top end, but hole shot would suffer. Awesome motor !!

| Shep, What is the reason your getting rid of the rev 4 23 p? I would also like to know how much your asking? I don't see it on the sell page.

Have you tried a 21 Tempest? I think that's what Sworrall was running on his in 2006 if I remember right, it might have been a 23 though, I can't remember for sure. |

| Trim go with a 21 Tempest, 23 will be too much, hole shot will suffer I run a 21 Tempest it spins 5750 rpm I found it works better than the Rev, 23 Rev is too much |

| 23 Rev 4 was too much prop. Came with the boat, and I swapped it out after the first weekend. Only got 5000 RPM's, at about 59. I think even the 21 Rev4 is a bit too big at times. I tired a 23 Tempest once. OK, but only 5400 at 59. I think the 21 Tempest would be optimal in most conditions, but I don't like the way the lose grip in 3+ footers. The Rev4 or High5 would be best there. |

| Thanks guys. I think we were going to try the 21 next. I put the 1890 away a little to early and didn't get to try the 21. I had to rough it with the 1700 till ice up but I'm usually fishing by myself in the fall anyway. The boss can't handle the cold to good these days. |
