Spent last Sat on the waters of Lake Pepin and Pool 4, spent the day pulling lead core and crank baits, caught some nice Sauger on the can line 4 around the 18" mark and 6 more in the 15 to 17 range, did some trolling on some main lake points and we ended up with another 27+ eye and a 18" eye. Deep Little Rippers were the hot bait

I heard there is decent jig bite at the dam.

Stop and get the latest info form Dean at Everts Resort,

The blade bait bite was hot on Saturday. We fished the tourney up there and caught no less than 30 Saugers between 14-20" long and another 12 to 15 Walleyes over 17". It was an absolute blast. I'm not sure about the second place team, but I know 3 out of the 4 top teams were fishing blades.

We had 19.68 pounds in 8 Saugers, and came in third. The guys who won had a staggering 26.6 pounds in 8 Saugers. That bite should only get better, as more of those lake fish move up. Too bad, it's so far away, or I'd be up there every weekend.
