want to get rid of my MInn Kota 24 volt maxxim cable drive trolling motor. Any suggestions? Will the Minn kota 24 v terrova with 60 " shaft do the trick or do I need the terrova 101 36 volt?

Some is good, more is better, and too much is just right! Get the 101. Plenty of room for the 3 batteries, and you will always have enough reserve power.

I agree with Shep on the 101 plan. More power if needed and longer battery life.
I like to play in rivers and went from an ap to a cable this year. I like the responsiveness of the cable in current and the ap was driving me nuts.

if you don't have the room for the 3rd battery or you just don't want the extra weight, the 24 volt 80 lb 60" Terrova will do the job! I put one on my 20 ft Hawk this year and it will put my boat all day long.

Just my 2 pennies!
