| Could it actually be true? An Evinrude Etec Kicker has finally made an appearance after so many rumors of one. Looks to finally be true though, check it out:

| I read that it is based off the 25 hp block, if so 160# is quite abit more weight than other kickers |

| Looks awesome, however this is not real.
Shouldn't be long before BRP brings us the "best" kicker ever made.

| I was told personally, by the Evinrude PoStaffer, that the E-Tec kicker will be out in late 2007. You can take that to the bank. |

Not everybody views the calendar the same. If somebody with a Mullet told you late 2007, that's because they think they're still in 1993. I agree, way too much hype, and way too much of a wait. I'm all for taking your time to get it right, but an extra few years on a kicker seems like a bit much.
I could see these being big if Evinrude continues with the FLW and offers contingency money next year, but that looks doubtfull. Why be the guniea pig on a new kicker when the T8 and Pro Kickers are proven commodities? Good luck Evinrude, competition is good for all of us. |
