I knew about the removal of slot from Orchard Frank. Shocked on the open season for walleye, even if it is only one.

Sunshine.

Refresh my memory, did they not put this in place when P/K started to do the shows up there in the early 90's and then everyone went there to load up on the giants in the fall? Do they think that the hordes will not keep them if they can? I know some guys who were guiding back then and we would all know some of them, that took 10-15 fish a day all in the 26 to 30 class. Now they have taught so many how to that they will have no prob removing whats left.

They just dont realize that the firstcreel survey ended in 93. Thats about the time the cat was getting out the bag up there. We would go up and room for 20 bucks a night and be 1 of 5 boats on the water. The next creel survey was under the current law and there is way many more dudes up there now.

Hopefully, they will do followup surveys to confirm that the findings do no harm
Take care,
