Member Posts: 213 Location: Forest Lake, MN | Ran out into the bay today with the 12' fold up boat to get some photos of whats left of a sail boat that wrecked on a oyster reef a couple years ago. From shore its hard to see whats left. Then as I ran down the shipping lane I found I had company. Not sure how many but one smaller one can up next to the boat to check me out then left. I didn't get any photos, darn, but I did get some side scans of them. Don't be fooled by the how long their arcs are, they were running parallel along side going deeper and coming up. Member Posts: 213 Location: Forest Lake, MN | I posted this link a while back about some one that got killed when they hit a submerged civil war wreck in the river near here. The first person to say any thing couldn't believe they'd leave some thing like that where it was. I take it that person had never been near the ocean or gulf. http://www.victoriaadvocate.com/news/2010/jan/04/er_boater_death010... These wrecks are over at Port Comfort. a couple of barges. When the weather stabilizes again and warms up I'm going to take the side scan up to the civil war wreck and see what I can find. Member Posts: 213 Location: Forest Lake, MN | I'll post a new just to keep it separate. A truck was honking at some thing out side my camper last night and when I opened the door, there were three pups, about 12 weeks old running away. Some one likely dumped them. Apparently a large breed dog cause they covered half floor in my slide in camper last night. The last thing I needed right now. WarrenMN

Notice the shadow on the right side of the image. WarrenMN Edited by WarrenMN 2/1/2010 4:35 PM Attachments ---------------- On porpoise 4.jpg (134KB - 235 downloads)
