While out pre-fishing Green Bay for the TFM Oconto Tournament, Pete Huibregtse reeled in the monster fish pictured in the link below. At first surge, he called out it must be a big catfish. Then he glimpsed the back of it - between the foaming waves - and hollered something to God about this fish being a monster walleye.
But of course, it was only a Pike!

Shep, the walleye fishing is very tough. I'll provide some details after the tourney. |

| Rick, good luck to you.
I heard rumor of a new WI State record eye caught on Green Bay this week. Any truth to it? 19+ lbs? |

I'm skeptical about that 19 pound fish Shep, even if it is official. I keep thinking about that record musky caught out of New York, and how it turned out to be a fraud.
And sorry to anyone that is a believer, but I woould rather wait and let the facts speak for themselves!
