| Couple of HDS questions....
Anyone using the new HDS units notice differences in your position error having the internal GPS antenna vs the older models w/puck?
With the internal antenna, do you pick up signal faster or slower than the pucks?
Last one here, but if I keep a LCX 26 on my bow and replace my LCX 111 with a HDS 10 at the dash, can I piggy back the GPS signal off of the HDS 10 to the LCX 26 and remove my puck that I'm currently using? |

It seems the same but the numbers were always changing and I don't look close.
I never timed them but they lock on fast.
You can network the GPS from the HDS to the 26 with the NMEA 2000 network. |

| Thanks for the reply Doc, much appreciated!
One other question, the local sales rep at the store the other day didn't know this but I wanted to know if I can use my current shoot thru hull transducer from my LCX 111 for an HDS 10 unit? The one sales rep I spoke with said the new Lowrance 83/200 transducers don't come in a shoot thru hull. I would still be adding the LSS-1 for down scan/side scan. |

| You can use any transducer with the HDS as long as it has a connector that fits on the HDS. I used the Min Kota US2 transducer last year.
Any puck or skimmer type transducer can be mounted to shoot through the hull.
