Member Posts: 5 Location: St. lawrence river | Far as im concerned...the way we prepare them, neither you nor I could tell the difference between this fish and a 18'' walleye. Every other fish went back into the drink.

Member Posts: 5 Location: St. lawrence river | Plus I am by no means a walleye expert haha I rarely catch one this size.. 27'' by the way. So its not like im taking a ton of these girls out of the system :p

Member Posts: 2300 Location: Berlin | You don't have to justify yourself as long as the regulations permit it. A 27" fish only does one thing well and that is eat. You are not hurting anything. Congrats on the nice fish.
