Location: Rhinelander | The weather looks like it might be a little rough at times today with an occasional thunderstorm, but so far, it's been partly sunny and warm. The anglers were very upbeat this morning, looking forward to an improving bite and easy winds for both the river and the bay. Jigging has been hot in the river, but Tom Gatzke is improvising trolling lead core across likely areas to find the fish, vertical jigging them until he exhausts the active bite...then moving on. He didn't even bring his planer board equipment this morning to avoid the temptation to head to the big water. Tommy Skarlis mentioned freaking a bit yesterday, and running to the lake when he probably should have stayed on his bite on the river. he's focused on the river bite this morning. Mike Gofron he is looking for the south winds to help with the slowing current, it's probable he's jigging. Watch the AIM site for morning videos and more. The live wirecast will begin at about 4:30 this afternoon. WalleyeFIRST Video coverage is brought to you by Lund Boats! Location: Rhinelander | Chad Schilling is in sixth place at Bay City after day two of the three day Anglers Insight Marketing tournament. "Jarrad Fluekiger drove the bus this morning", Chad said, "And, took ALL of us to school!" Indeed. Jarrad Fluekiger, a Wisconsin Pro, did 'put on a clinic' today, bringing a seven fish CRR total for Day Two to the stage of 48.47 pounds, a new AIM single day record. That total, coupled with his day one weight of 31.95, gives Jarrad a very respectable margin of 20.79 pounds over second place John Kolinski going into the final day. As I remember it, she used to Kiss anybody with a beard and mustache who offered her the chance. I should have never let her go.
