Congratulations and THANKS to all 97 teams that fished the MWS Oconto Bay of Green Bay tournament.

The weather cooperated; the winds were light and temperatures in the eighties. The sun was out all day and we had pleasant weather. Most of the teams stated they caught a lot of fish but not the size they wanted. Most of the teams traveled long distances for their fish while others had their success traveling short distances. There was a total of 326 fish caught weighing a total of 1216.92#

The team of Phil Rahnke and Chad Wertepny took first place with four fish weighing 29.88# winning them $4,300. Phil and Chad also had the big fish of the tournament with a 9.84# walleye winning them two plaques donated by All Sport and Trophy and Two plaques donated by the Oconto businesses a deep cycle battery a Drop-n-Stay and two fifty dollar Mack’s Lures gift certificates and two spools of Triple Fish Line donated by Triple Fish. Second place went to the father/son team of Rob Krause and Rick Krause with four fish totaling 26.56# for $2,200. Third place went to the team of Derek Navis and Korey Sprengel with four fish weighing 23.82# for $1,100. In addition to the plaques from TFM Promotions first through third place teams received two plaques from the Oconto businesses. Fourth place went to the team of Dan Roth and Eric Carlson with four fish totaling 22.10# for $900. Fifth place went to the team of Greg Wierzba and Tim Skenandore with four fish weighing 21.90# for $800.

Mr Walleye Rods award went to the team of Bob Mehorczyk and Norb Wisniewski

Stowmaster Net award went to the team of Bud LeFever and Lynn LeFever

Intruder Products award went to the team of Stephan Paulsen and Troy Zupke.

Currently there is a tie for Team of the year between the team of Scott Hausauer and Tricia Hausauer and the team of Derek Navis and Korey Sprengel. The current parent/child Team of the year is Bruce Van Schyndel and Jeremy Van Schynde. Current husband/wife team of the year is Scott Hausauer and Tricia Hausauer. Current Sibling Team of the Year is Troy Saunders and Tad Saunders
