Hey just wondering, hows the bite over there? I never fished it but my bro lives by eau claire now and we want to go fish it and just wondering if the bites been decent. Any recommended camp sites or cheap motel? Thanks

We were there Friday and Saturday. It was on the tail end of a major mayfly hatch and we still caught a lot of Saugers. Trolling leadcore in 15-22' of water produced a lot of fish with sorting required.
