im having a hard time with gut hooking perch what hooks do you recammend i use

Longer shanked hooks always seem to work the best for me. Try the #8's mustad makes. They are easier to get a needle nose pliers on for unhooking panfish. Hope this helps.

I agree w/ Tiger fish. Mustad Gold Aberdeen Hooks, 8 or 10.
