Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | A little poem I composed this morning.
Thank's to todays modern soldiers, who surely must already know.
The dangers of the job before them, but yet still volunteer to go.
And thank's to the old draftees who went willingly, when they themselves were called.
For country, honor, and in brotherhood, on the many beaches they died for and held.
Few other countries risk their blood for just causes.
But America has faithfully without any pauses.
We're seen by our enemies, as tyrants and Huns.
Conquerors and bullies, with to many guns.
But we never stake claims after the battles are done.
And leave many behind, who will never again see the morning sun.
I wish it was over forever, with never another regret.
But I'm afraid it never will be, so thank God for American Vets.
A special thank's for my life and my liberty Dad.
