| The Hahn-A-Lula has decided to hold a walleye tournament on November 6th, 2010 because of the large numbers of fish that use the lower river and due to the growing number of anglers who fish for walleye in the fall. Time will be from 10AM to 3:30 so that the frost is off the pumpkin and locals can still see the sun come up in their deer stand or shoot a few early ducks.
Rules and entry forms can be downloaded at www.wolfriverwalleyeclub.com Entry fee is just $50 per team with a 90% payback to 1/3 of the field. The weigh-in will be done individually outside with weights and places announced at a prize banquet to be held in the hall. That'll give everyone a chance to get out of the weather and enjoy some munchies and chili compliments of the Hahn-A-Lula.
Take off spots on a first come first serve basis. This should be fun. |

| Note from the Han-A-Lula. They will be serving free munchies and chili to contestants at the prize banquet. Walleye fishing in the area has started. |

Location: Darboy USA | Sounds like a fun event, if I wasn't in SD that weekend shooting colorful chickens I'd be in for sure. Hope it's a success Doc!

| When you get back lets get together. You bring the "colorful chicken" breasts and I'll bring the Chipotle Cherry and Chipotle Orange Honey and the rest of the fixings.
As far as Hahn's, yes figures to be a good time. I'm just helping Cliff, Judy and Ryan out because they have no access to groups like this. They've been hosting our Wolf River Walleye Club meetings and serving sandwiches for free and Cliff asked if I would help out with a fall tournament. Hard to say no to a friend of 30+ years. Have 10 teams already, so we're going to have a party for sure. Actually, fishing has been good but still not many fishermen out. Just wait till it cools off a bit, when they really start snappin', right around the first week of November

| Controversy......I'm shocked!!! |

| From what I have heard, no results were recorded and the winners weight was not announced. Weird. I was going to fish this, but based on what I have heard, I am glad I didn't.
If someone needs to speak up and clear the air, now's the time. |

| OMG! Who is starting this crap! All SEVEN teams were given the chance to weigh fish. THREE teams, 2 with ONE fish and 1 with TWO fish choose not to wet the scale. ALL results were recorded as they came in and the winners were announced in the Hahn-A-Lula. The winners were Ted Schroeder and Kevin Wright with 6 fish weighing 10.3#, they caught 9 fish total. Second place went to Collin Martin and Ryan Heeman with 6 fish weighing 9.6 pounds which included the big fish of 3.15#, they also caught 9 fish. We also choose to give $25 to 3rd place which was Mark Danielski & David Mueller who weighed 6 fish for 8.2# and caught 10 fish. The fourth place team also weighed 6 fish for 4.7#, they only brought 6 fish to the weigh-in. All entry fees were paid to the Hahn-A-Lula and Judy Hahn paid the winners an made sure everyone who paid for the prime rib buffet got taken care of. There was free chili and some cheese and chips to munch on during the prize banquet and well known local artist Skip Thayer has been paid for the winners plaques he is making. There was also no controversy jerry, no problems and everyone there shook my hand and said thank you. Plans are for another event next year. Maybe the "guest" who stirred the pot will man up and be there.
