Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay.
Looks like our open water season will be coming to an end here shortly. Surface temps were 35 and 36 Sunday with much colder/below freezing day time temps predicted for all of next week. Slow trolling (1.4 to 1.6) Glass Fire Perch Huskys and other high-vis lures did the job in some brisk/breezy conditions Sunday. But good to know the inner bays resident walleyes are back home where they belong for the up-coming ice season.
