Location: Forest Lake, MN | It seems like every one I talk to on this in most interested in seeing structure under the ice but I'd do it two ways, one to find the structure and then I'd set the distance out to barely more than the depth so most of the display would be of the water column, looking for fish in a 360 degree pattern.

Location: Forest Lake, MN | From what I've gathered from Per, it only has to rotates 180 degrees using both sides. It sounds like you can make a version that is computer controlled or manually controlled. I guess it's not that hi a tech project but now that I've gotten an apartment while I'm taking classes this spring semester I'm not in a position to try it out. Just wanted to pass on some of the discussion on the DrDepth Group.
