Here's a question, what is the best way to manage the camera when running the unit. I really don't like to put the rod in a holder but I haven't been able to come with a better solution when trying to fish and watch at the same time.

Could you describe what you are trying to say in a little more detail? I use a camera all the time and can help if I understand what you are trying to say.

While fishing from a Boat how to you handle both the camers and the rod without using a rod hold or is it just not possible. Most fisherman do one or the other-fish or view.

The camera is weighted and adjusted for the viewing angle you want, and as you move along, stays pretty straight. Unless you are trying to pan, which won't work well when moving, you don't need to mess with it much unless you change depths quite a bit.
