Subject: Bottom bouncer


Can anyone offer any tips or advice on using a bottom bouncer in a small,shallow,rocky river? Presentation,lures,bait,etc... Thank You! The site would'nt allow me to log in!

As a general rule I use a half ounce of bouncer for every five feet of water depth. Next, I let out double the amount of line for the water depth im fishing. Example: for fishing five feet of water i'd use a half ounce bouncer an let out 10 feet of line. I'm not sure but a three way rig may be better here constatntly lifting and dropping the rod feeling the bottom as you move along. I hope others comment on this. I'd like to see other strategies and suggestions.
