I thought about ordering some of these around the time I was making my new Weighted Clicker Harnesses this past winter, but wanted to wait. I just placed an order for 10 of each Silver and Gold in the #5 size. Not sure of how well they'll work as harness components of course, but like the idea of being able to run them at faster speeds. I also see some of these being custom painted to my liking. These particular blades are made by the Pen-Tac Component Company. http://www.pen-tac.com/blades.html Below is the picture and the hype.

In addition to good polishing, plating and laquering, a good spinner bait blade has a combination of three qualities; instantaneous spin at slowest speeds, vibration and lift. With a willow leaf, it is a trade off; you want to fish it fast, but you also want vibration and lift for control, and to detect subtle takes. The problem is that vibration/lift negates a fast retrieve...until now. The secret to Pen-Tac's precision pro willow leafs is that they are tuned to give you all the three qualities... consistently, effortlessly.
