| My buddy is a yamaha master tech and i gave him a call. He recommend that you buy two bottles of yamalube RINGFREE 12oz and mix to 10gal of gas. After running change all your spark plugs. He said if that didn't fix the problem it is definitely the VST and will need to change the filter in your VST . The filter is 100bucks and gasket is 30. Hope this helps !!!!

| Were can I purchase a 10 micron fuel/water seperator for a Yamaha 115 Four Stroke?, and were do I install it? If someone has a picture of one installed that would be great.

| No problem man ! Glad i could help , and your problem seemed very similar to one i had. After my friend change my VST filter 2yrs ago on my 115 opti i have been trouble free .My had set for 3yrs . The first owner passed away and his never started or treated the gass. |

| I actually went as far to install an additional fuel filter seperator inline with the main gas line on my F150. It helped big time.
Had a problem the other year with moisture and they cleaned the injectors, after I had seafoamed them and ring free them. They also replaced the VST and still had the problem. But once the external filter was installed, no problems.
