Member Posts: 54 Location: Shabbona | Thanks for your replies but what I'm after was a post system to put under existing seats. With Smooth Move and Glyde Rides you have to lower post and move seat base back about 4 inches. This ad I saw was put spring loaded post under existing seat no fuss no muss..

Member Posts: 54 | Moderator Magic! Gotcha ![]() I run them in my boat but made a modification to fit the carpeted over 238 insert rather than mounting the plate to the floor. Edited by Fish Hound 5/12/2011 7:35 PM

Member Posts: 538 | I do not have personal experience in the pedastal post. If you have already been in a boat that has one, then you know what you want. I can tell you that my Ranger had a pedastal type shock and was not good enough for someone with major back issues. I did buy smoothmoves two years ago and it is the best thing I ever put in a boat, period. Take care, Jim O

Take care, Jim O I don't know Jim, that big walleye that gave you enough weight to win the Merc Nats was probably the best thing you ever put in your boat but I am sure the Smooth Moves are a close 2nd
