Thank you to Robert, Greg, Kirt, Jim, Terry and Mark for the great job providing the kids a fishing trip this weekend along with the education seminars. Close to 90 kids made it onto the water.

It was my pleasure, great time. It was great to take the kids out, some had never been a boat or fishing they all had a great time!

It was a great time with the youths and familes. We also had great weather. Here are some pics from the event.

Sure glad to see 9 kids from a population of 16,000 people show up for such an event! I hope the vendors didn't have to pay for their empty booths

You know...it is complete ignorant people such as yourself that give not only forums but the sport in general a bad name. The attendance was low on Saturday but everyone came out on Sunday. Carnival, helicopter and vendors are all on board for next year.

Save your incendiary comments for a day when you acquire a thimble of intellectual capacity to remotely start organizing any event. I would invest all the time and money over again and again just to see the smiles on the kids faces…the same smile you probably have when you figure out how to put a pop-tart in the toaster.

Well said Steve!
These kids were some good sticks. I did not have one bait in the trees all weekend.
The biggest comment I heard in my boat was come on, hit the throttle!
The best phone call I received was from Robert at 7:00 Friday night telling me the train bridge closed and he was stuck behind it. But at least he found some fish!

SK, Don't let "guest" (chiicken to say who he is), get to you. The people that support fishing know well what you are doing, and scum like "guest" is not worth a second of your time to respond too. He is only here to amuse himself and we all know the guy is just an idiot. I usually do not write this kind of stuff on these posts, but everyone needs to just ignore "guest" because morons like that, as long as you feed the fire will hang around.

A big thumbs up to all that helped!!! I was at the first Moose Fest and had a blast with the kids. I was planning on being part of 2011 but had a conflict of schedule. I look forward to the 2012 event.
