Member Posts: 152 Location: Appleton WI | I'm looking at purchasing a new pair of sunglasses to be used for fishing. Any recommendations? A lot of guys I talk to say Costa Del Mar but i realize that sponsorships have an influence on that.

Member Posts: 43 | I wear Randolph Engineering "Concorde" in 61 mm size fitted with prescription polarized, bifocal lenses. If you look at the "Braided Line" thread and scroll down to see two pictures, you can see the teardrop shaped lenses. This is my 2nd pair of "Concorde" frames. I know why pilots liked these now.

I have 3 pairs of Costas that did not last a year between all 3 pairs, due to not being able to handle the weight of my body on top of them. My 15.00 pair of cheapy polarized bifocals have been around a little over a year now.

Member Posts: 2567 Location: Manitowoc, WI | www.habervision.com. I've been using these for running and fishing over the last 5 years and they are great. I had Costa del Mars before and I'd buy the Habervisions before the Costas.
