Hello all anglers:

The City of Menasha and Greg Karch are hosting three free fishing clinics to the public. Below is a link to pre-register for the clinics (Page 12 has more details) . If you register three weeks before the event you will receive a free t-shirt. There will also be other prizes had out at the clinics.

On May 21st a youth fishing seminar will be held at Smith Park (301 Park Street) from 10 to 11 AM. Techniques to start fishing and catch fish will be covered. From knots, fishing combos, fish identification, bait, how to cast and more.. From 11 AM until noon I will work one-on-one on casting.

On June 11th a Family Fishing day will be held at Jefferson’s Park West Shelter (near boating landing). From 9 to 10 AM a second youth fishing seminar will be held. At 10 AM to noon a Family Fishing will take place with prizes being awarded in two age categories for biggest and smallest fish. I will also hold a fish cleaning seminar.

On July16th a fishing clinics will be held for adults and teenagers on Lake Winnebago walleye and pan-fish. It will be held at Jefferson Park South Shelter from 1 to 3 PM. The first hour you will learn about equipment, locations and tips to catch more fish. The second hour will be an open discussion.

Today, the first of three Family Fishing Clinics for the City Of Menasha was held at Smith Park. It was great teaching the youth about fishing and met many new fisherman. Thanks goes to City Of Mensha, Northland Tackle Company, Plano, NPAA and Dave's Musky Club for donating T-shirts, Go Fishing educational books and tackle boxes full basic tackle equipment for each of the youths.
