I'll be up staying on Bass lk. w/ the family for a week starting on the 25th. Any suggestions for a walleye bite up there. I'll only have a kayak to fish out of. Thanks for any info!

I know there are walleyes in nearby Little Lake. Many lakes in the area, not familiar with Bass. I believe there are musky in Shag Lake. Try posting a question on www.upangler.com I know there are some guys who fish that area that post on the site. Good Luck

If you are just looking to catch walleye's, go up to Deer Lake in Ishpeming. You cannot use live bait or keep walleyes, however, you will catch a ton of them. If you are looking to keep a couple go to the Cataract Basin. It is remote and beautiful. This would be perfect for a kayak!
Good Luck
