Hey just curious if anyone uses a baitcaster set up to pitch/cast jigs and cranks? If so what is the set up? I am going to purchase a few new combos this spring and I am looking for ideas...any info is much appreciated.

What's everybody's best rod setup for jigging, medium light or medium, and what length. Thanks

Location: Rhinelander
I use a Revo Premier on a Fenwick HMXC, and a St Croix paired with a Shimano, don't have that one in the house right now. 1/4 ounce up on the jigs with a casting rod and reel, lighter I go to spinning gear.
