| who in your opinion makes the best, smoothest, quietest, overall running and starting 4 stroker in the market? looking at 8 horses. don't need everything the 9.9's have. |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | If you look at the pro kicker from mercury and you enjoy what the engine has to offer, then just move to the 8hp. Same engine, different intake. Less bulky clamp bracket. Pull choke and primer for easy cold starts, as well as a throttle only switch so you may raise the rpms while warming up. Shift in handle for easy of operation.

Location: Neenah, WI | Been running Yamaha kickers for a long time. First a 9.9 four stroke and now a T8 since 2002. Flawless.

| Love my T8. Awesome starting, smooth operating and extremely quiet. Most new 8hp kickers are nice, unfortunately none of them are cheap! |

| I am extremely happy with my 9.9 Pro Kicker, unlike Mark mine starts good and runs like a dream, I have had them on both my Tuffy's. |

As for a kicker, the Pro Kicker is awesome but so is the t-8. You can't go wrong with either. |
