Well I finally got this computer thing working, looks like I am able to post a message once again!! I down loaded a new version of Netscape.
Something I have been wondering for a few weeks and because I live down in Racine I have not heard if they found the two boys that were lost on Winnebago?
With the winds the last couple of days has the lake ice broken up, or was the lake not completly froze over yet?
Thanks
Shadman
P.S.
Good to be back!!!!!

No, they have not found the 2 boys as of yet. I not sure if they are still searching.

Hi Al,

They are currently waiting for the ice to get thick so divers can get out.

East shore is froze over. Best looking ice in a long time. It initially broke up but refroze. Part of the south end was still open along the park but that's all I've seen so far.

Ken,
Sounds good on the ice conditions so far! Hope we do not get any strong winds from the West to break things up like in the past!! If you get out give me a E-Mail shout about ice conditions, and how you did. Maybe we can hook up with each other for a morning or day of fishing soon. My E-Mail has remained the same. If you do not have it anymore, Just let me know I can send it to you as long as yours remained the same? I need to come up and check on the cottage soon, been some time since we pulled the pier out. How is the ice condition right along shore? I was hoping to get up there to drop a couple of large willow branches down on the ice that I cannot get during the summer time. Thanks!

Welcome back ShadMan. I hope to get up to Bago this winter, and finally meet Marken in person. Maybe even meet you too!

Been a tough ice bite on Bago for me for many years, but I always try to give it a go a couple times a year. I'll post when I'm planning a trip up, and maybe Marken can get us on some fish.

Hi guys,

They are running the shoreline with 4 wheelers already. There has been a good wind today and the ice is still there, so I've got my fingers crossed. No big heaves out in front of my place so far.

Hopefully I'll have a report this week.

The east shore just opened up from the wind. The ice is headed west. I almost took a walk out to one of the reefs this afternoon. Glad I didn't!

I want our winter back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
